Apocalyptic is a fashion show created by my close friend Räyya Gracy, that explores themes of A.I. and technology vs nature and humanity. The production was put together in one week and was shown at CMU Drama's 21st annual Playground Student Work Festival.

The show opens with a video media segment that contextualizes the fashion. We are living in the future and artificial intelligence has taken over the planet, leaving few surviving rebels to act as the human resistance. I drew on these themes to design and construct 2 looks for the show.

Mother Nature and Mother Board

Materials / Process
I freestyle crocheted this top as the base of the outfit - it proved to be too small at the first fitting
crocheted more of the top to fit better
I hand-sewed a variety of fake plants, moss, stones, and camo fabric onto the base
I was donated a broken flatscreen TV to use for parts
the inside of the TV
I was also donated this cable that I cut up, unsheathed, and hand sewed onto a blazer as fringe
